Hoop earrings with infinity loop designs for a continuous and eternal shape-Scarce Antique Georgian Rose Cut Garnet Earrings

Dating to the 1820's, this antique pair of faceted Rose-cut Garnet earrings are a beautiful example of the flowersome romance of the time in their delicacy and charm. The juicy deep wine hued gems are set in beaded collets in an elegant pendant shape topped with a flowered flourish to the tops, all hand crafted. Likely they were once part of a grander arrangement and the 9ct Gold earwires are later 20th century replacements; such is the way with older jewels having seen wear over time. They measure 4.5cm from the top of the wires.
